The Lincoln County Rodeo Association, Inc. (Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo) would like to announce that they have been awarded the prestigious honor of being selected as the Small Committee of the Year (added money of $5,000 or less) by the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) for 2017.

Never Forgotten Honor Flight

Vice President Bryan Moodie. Jim Campbell and Mike Thompson accepted proceeds of $5,000 on behalf of the Never Forgotten Honor Flight. The Military Appreciation is recognized at the Friday evening performance of the Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo in Merrill at the festival grounds. The Never Forgotten Honor Flight is a nonprofit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices by flying them to Washington, D.C. to reflect at their memorials. The Lincoln County Rodeo Association Inc. and Brickner’s Park City’s contributions assisted five area veterans in making the trip to Washington D.C. to visit the memorial. The 30th Year of the Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo will be in 2019 on June 7th, 8th and 9th at the Merrill Festival Grounds.
